Eccentric presses double upright with single connecting rod

The construction system adopted on the 2 column single connecting rod eccentric presses has the great advantage of avoiding the phenomenon known as chasming

Presses of this kind, in addition to greatly limiting structural deformations, reduce the maintenance times of the equipment used in the processes, giving the product an elevated finish.

All 2 column single connecting rod presses work at variable speed and the large range of extras available to the customer also includes the use of an automatic NC stroke change system.

  VARIABLE STROKE WITH AUTOMATIC STROKE ADJUSTMENT
Stroke adjustment is carried out from a keyboard with visual display, and is completely automatic. Just select the stroke required and the press will make the necessary adjustment; at the end of the operation the display shows the new stroke with its relative “plate-ram B.D.C. distance” or partial variation. Regulation of the slide position is visualised in real time with tenth of a millimetre precision. The system simultaneously adjusts the cam to give slide stop at T.D.C.


 
  VARIABLE STROKE WITH NUMERICAL CONTROL
Allows completely automatic simultaneous stroke adjustment, ram regulation, production speed settings and cam adjustment (to achieve precision slide stop at T.D.C.). Slide adjustment is to a tenth of a millimetre and is visualised in real time.
Settings are made by means of a keyboard with visual display or touch screen system. Just call up the die code and the press will carry out the necessary adjustments. Data entry with a simple intuitive program which suggests the possible values according to the settings made.


 
  SAFETY LIGHT CURTAINS
Provide ideal working conditions and excellent active safety criteria. Safety light curtains mean quicker piece loading and off-loading and reduced access times to the work area.

 
  BLANKHOLDER PADS
Pneumatic or hydro-pneumatic, housed in the press base, used essentially for knock-out or drawing of the pieces produced.


 
 
STRAIN GAUGES
These are devices that use a system of control on structural strain to identify the areas of greatest stress on the die during operation: this interpretation makes it possible to adjust production regulation parameters with better awareness so that the electronic machine controls can be employed promptly if the parameters are outside normal.

 
  RAPID DIE TOOLING
The need to reduce tooling times as much as possible has imposed die locking and handling systems that guarantee perfect maintenance of the set position during production, and rapid replacement to follow.

   
  MOBILE PLATES
The characteristics of these single and double mobile plates reduce times and facilitate assembly and disassembly of the die.

 
  INTERLOCKING
The need for a flexible system to meet customers’ production requirements means that feeders and transfers can be provided with the press.
